14 Years Cytooxien

There are only a handful of Minecraft servers with a history as long and eventful as Cytooxien. By now, our server has been around longer than some of our players have been alive.

Not only have you evolved, Cytooxien and our team have grown and changed over the years as well. As many of you know, even after 14 years Cytooxien is still under the same leadership, and several of our key team members have been with us since the very beginning. Minecraft itself is increasingly becoming a platform, opening up ever more possibilities for creating unique content, even for the Java Edition. Last year we made the decision to fully commit to the project and founded our own company. This allowed us to stop running Cytooxien on the side and instead dedicate ourselves to it completely. Since then a lot has happened.

At a time when many Minecraft servers are struggling to survive, we have been able to continuously grow our player base. At the same time, our vision and our standards have grown as well. This is reflected in the updates of the past months and years: we work more deliberately, focus on our proven unique concepts, and continue to expand them with new content so they stay fun and fresh over the long term. But we also want to experiment more with new ideas and game concepts again. Our redesigned lobby introduced last year was created for exactly this reason. It gives us the flexibility to easily add or remove games.

So get excited for brand new games and fresh content for Skyblock, Cactus Tycoon, Minecraft Party and more. It is going to be awesome!
