Minecraft Server

§1 General

1. The instructions of members of staff must be followed.
2. Every player is obliged to report. Witnessed violations by other players must be reported to the team. This also applies to any observed errors (bugs, etc.) in the game.
3. Reimbursement of losses caused by server-side errors is only possible if there is clear evidence in the form of videos.
4. A penalty is directed against the owner of an account as well as against the rule-breaker and perpetrator or instigator and all users of the same device. This means that everyone is responsible for their own account. Additionally, motivating other players to break the rules is prohibited.
5. The Cytooxien network team reserves the virtual domiciliary rights. Thererfore, the server team is responsible for interpreting the rules and punishing rule violations.
6. In general, a person may play on Cytooxien using multiple accounts, but ...
   • ... only with one account at a time.
   • ... may only have one savegame per main server (i.e. only use one and the same account per main server)
   • ... may not use it to circumvent an active ban or mute.

§2 Modifications 

Any and all modifications (mods) that grant the player an unfair advantage against other players are prohibited. Simply joining the network with them is forbidden. 

Permitted modifications: 

Performance Mods, LabyMod (without the Damage Indicator & Minimap), Optifine, Litematica (only pure-visual features, PickBlock is also prohibited) and Replay Mod.

Explicitly prohibited modifications: 

Autoclicker, minimap, freecam, mousewheelie, any kind of x-ray, printer and damage indicator. 

1. The usage of programs or functions that automate parts of the controls or the entire game is prohibited (inlcuding autoclickers).
2. The usage of World Downloader modifications is strictly prohibited, in particular the downloading or otherwise copying of Cytooxien maps.
3. Changing the key mapping for "Use" and "Attack" is prohibited due to an official Minecraft bug.

We assume no liability for flawed modifications that are sending invalid packets (e.g. emotes) to the server that can lead to automatic bans.

§3 Communication 

1. Communication between users should be polite and respectful. Insulting, racist, discriminatory, provocative or offensive comments are prohibited and will be punished.
2. Threats and sexual harassment of any kind are prohibited.
3. Political and religious discussions and content are prohibited.
4. Spam, permanent writing in capital letters (caps) and the highlighting of messages by repeated writing are prohibited.
5. Advertisements for other servers and posting server addresses will lead to an automatic punishment.
6. Longer private conversations should be conducted in the local chat or via /msg.
7. Exploiting the support by making false reports or unnecessary requests is prohibited.
8. Publishing private information (e.g. phone numbers, addresses, bank details) is prohibited (i.e. doxxing).
9. Misleading links are prohibited.
10. All messages that can be seen in a chatlog are considered public and will be checked for rule violations.
11. Disclosing the real in-game name of a player protected by our nick system is prohibited. 

§4 Gameplay

1. Offensive, violent, discriminatory or pornographic content, skins, names and links to such content are prohibited.
2. Exploiting bugs is prohibited. Bugs must be reported and not be disclosed.
3. Teaming up with other players is only permitted when it is intended by the game design. Cross-teaming between different guilds in Factions is prohibited.
4. Intentionally worsening the gaming experience of others (e.g. spawntrapping) is prohibited.
5. Stats- and elo-boosting by playing unfair matches is prohibited. 

§5 Other rules of conduct

1. Fraud, false price quotations, deliberate destruction or looting of buildings and opaque offers are strictly prohibited. For secure trading, please use the /trade command.
2. All actions must be triggered manually. The player must be responsive. Trying to circumvent AFK-kicks is not permitted.
3. Transferring money or items between different main servers or outside of Cytooxien is prohibited.
4. Player traps or deadly buildings are prohibited.
5. In Factions, deception, lies, mild provocation and espionage are allowed.
6. Advertisements and offers are only allowed using /ad or the trade chat. It is not permitted to share other content there.
7. Misleading warp names or promises are prohibited.
8. Public farms may only provide items generated by game mechanics.
9. Advertising of  gambling is not permitted.
